Hurricane Katrina evacuees still in peril!
It has been a year and the refugees from Hurricane Katrina are still in
a perilous situation.  Had the Federal Government owned up to it's
financial responsibility to these evacuees, they would be in a much
better situation than they are in.

It's important for the public to realize that the New Orleanian
Hurricane refugees are not begging the government for anything. The
Federal Government has admitted over and over again that if they had
maintained the levee system in New Orleans properly, the city would
